What is Asian Handicap?

Asian Handicap is a form of betting that eliminates the draw option, making matches between unevenly matched teams fairer. The stronger team gives a goal handicap to the weaker team. For example, 'Home -1' means the home team needs to win by more than 1 goal.

The unique feature of Asian Handicap is the 'Win Half' and 'Loss Half' concepts. With quarter ball lines (like -0.5/1 or -0/0.5), you may only win or lose half your stake depending on the score.

Common Handicap Types

Level (0): Win if your team wins, push (refund) on draw
Level/Half Ball (-0/0.5): Full win if team wins, loss half on draw, full loss if team loses
Half Ball (-0.5): Full win if team wins, full loss on draw or loss
Half/One Ball (-0.5/1): Full win if team wins by 2+, win half if wins by 1, full loss on draw or loss
One Ball (-1): Full win if team wins by 2+, push if wins by 1, full loss on draw or loss

Calculation Formulas

Full Win: Profit = Stake × (Odds - 1)
Win Half: Profit = Stake × (Odds - 1) ÷ 2
Push: Stake refunded, no profit/loss
Loss Half: Loss = Stake ÷ 2
Full Loss: Loss = Stake
